We offer multiple Freediving Agency Certifications including AIDA, PADI and more.
Will my previous certification be recognized?
We will evaluate your skills and place you appropriately rather than force you into a full beginner course. The exact mapping depends on your current level and comfort in the water (and yes, we’ll look at real skills—not just the card).
I’m already certified with Molchanovs / PFI. Why would I consider AIDA?
Great question—and no, this is not a “start from zero” situation.
AIDA is simply another internationally recognized framework with its own structure, evaluation criteria, and competition heritage. Many freedivers cross-certify to:
Access AIDA-specific competitions or instructor pathways
Train under an instructor they trust who teaches within AIDA
Gain broader exposure to different teaching philosophies
Think of it like learning the same language with a different accent—not relearning the alphabet.

Is AIDA better than Molchanovs or PFI?
No agency is “better.” They are different frameworks serving the same ocean.
